Traditional Korean hotel rooms - Ondol
Traditional Korean hotel rooms, also called ondol, are
unique of Korea. Ondol is the traditional Korean under-floor
heating system; in an ondol room there is under-floor
heating and you sleep on a tatami mattress on the floor.
This is especially nice during cold Korean winter nights,
when you can feel the heat coming from the floor through
the futon.
